How to design a unique candle jar?

Step 1

Step 2

Cut the wax into small pieces and place them on top of the double boiler or inside the pot. Then, heat it over medium heat until the wax is completely melted.

Step 4
Decide what color you want your candle to be and add some crayons to the wax until it melts. Continue adding some crayons until you are happy with the color. If you don’t know what the color will look like when it dries, dip a popsicle stick in the wax. The color on the stick is a good indication of your finished color. Use an oven mitt or pot holder to remove the wax from the stove. Carefully pour the wax into the first container until it reaches the top of the container (or desired height).

Step 5
Sometimes you can form an area around the wick of the candle. Melt some more wax and pour it into the depression. Once the new wax has hardened, turn the wick down to size and your candle jar is ready.
